This week you can feel true adrenaline on the Bilbao Estuary when the regattas hit the Nervión Estuary, the entire waterfront transforms into a vibrant, open-air stadium. The banks of the river—stretching from the iconic Guggenheim Museum down to the historic Hanging Bridge of Portugalete—fill with thousands of locals dressed in the bright colors of their town’s team.
